Welcome to Jaco Costa Rica, this once quiet beach town has turned in to a bustling party spot with many tourist attractions. In 2009 the new Highway 27 coming from the capital, San Jose, opened which changed the travel time from 3 hours to just 1 hour 30 minutes. This opened new opportunities for Jaco which was already exploding with tourism. Jaco is now known as the closest beach town to the San Jose and fills up on the weekend with locals looking to party. The town only has approximately 10,000 permanent residents but gets very busy with local tourists and tourists from other parts of the world. Because of the proximity you will find mostly North Americans but Costa Rica attracts people from all over the globe.
The beach town is well known for its outdoor tourist attractions and if you’re looking for things to do in Jaco then you will find plenty of great entertainment during the day and we will get to the night fun later. One of the most popular activities around Jaco is the surfing which is great for beginners at the south end of the beach while the waves get a little more extreme as you move north. If you are really looking for extreme waves then head 6 kilometers south to the world renowned Playa Hermosa which hosts a local surf competition every Friday afternoon at the Backyard Bar. Other day activities include fishing, atv off-road tours, the Jaco Ropes course, a zip line, crocodile tours, kayaking, waterfall tours, canyoning tours and white water rafting. It is always recommended to visit Manuel Antonio National Park 1 hour 15 minutes south to explore to find some amazing beaches and a great deal of exotic wildlife. The south end of Jaco beach is much cleaner and superior than the middle or north but if you’re looking for an even nicer beach then head to Punta Leona and Playa Blanca only 30 minutes north.
The accommodations in Jaco are bountiful and range from hostels to luxury homes; you will easily be able to find what you’re looking for. There are numerous restaurants to eat at but the prices can be a little on the tourist side. If you’re looking for good local eats on the cheaper side then check out the sodas where you can get a big meal for $5-$6, a few of the popular ones are Rustico and Marea Baja.
Now, let’s get to the fun part, what you all have been waiting for, the party and the girls. If you’re looking for a Costa Rican bachelor party, then Jaco is a great place and well known for bachelor parties for good reasons, the girls are sexy and always ready to get down. Jaco is well known for prostitution and you can find most the girls at the Cocal, a hotel that caters to guys looking for some special company. Another place to find the working girls is at the Beatle Bar but since it shut down and opened back up the Cocal has taken over, the Beatle Bar use to be the known place to go but that has changed because the younger hotter girls all flock to the Cocal pool bar. From big to small you will find what you’re looking for as the Latinas pile in from all over but most are either from Colombia or locals. Jaco also has an amazing strip club called Centerfolds that is a very classy joint filled with provocative girls. If you are looking for non-working or regular girls then you just may be in luck because Jaco is not all about prostitution but be warned that even some of the regular girls are looking to get paid but won’t classify themselves as hookers, just a girl looking to get paid for her company [Editor’s note: Yea… so hookers]. It is possible to find some free take downs and in many circumstances the girls will give it up easy because there is so much competition and we all know what that does to the panties, they drop. If you are looking for a free hook up from a tourist girl, then head to Swell Bar but most these girls are looking for local dark meat so your chances are much better off with the local girls that are interested in foreigners. It just might be the bulge in your pocket, no not your cock but that wad of cash. No matter where you go people are always looking for something different so Costa Rica in general is a great place to clean up. Orange Pub and the after hours Le loft, are good places to find some local girls but don’t forget about Wednesday ladies night at Jaco Blue.
If you want to gamble and find girls at the same place then the Cocal has you covered and is the only place in town where you can find a poker game as well as sports betting. New to Jaco in 2015 was Crocs Casino and Resort, one of Jaco’s fancier establishments where you can also try your luck if that’s your thing.
