Bas Rutten: Bouncer
This is an interesting view on the insanity of bar brawling in Europe where weapons are a rarity, and the trouble caused by the lack of fear that someone will pull out a gun or knife. According to Geoff Thompson senseless violence is endemic to British culture, and bouncers virtually need to be pro quality fighters.
Bas’s notes on verbally diffusing problem situations is indicative of the mind set a trained fighter has to have to get through times in bad places without getting into trouble.
The second video is a really cool story that pretty much demonstrates that if people have predetermined that they are going to attack you, that there is no way you can really talk your way out of it.
