The Picture Game!

Pretty girl with cameraThe picture game is a great little single dude party game when traveling which Boris taught me recently on a trip to Saigon. He begged me to not write about it and keep this secret for us, but I don’t really see the harm in showing it to our loyal readers.

So when we’re traveling a wingman and I are often confronted with a situation where we are spending time with a couple girls with which the language barrier is a significant issue. We can talk a little bit in English or their language, but not a lot, and long conversations about complicated subjects are out of the question. So we just smile a lot, dance with them, use body language, and sometimes do the picture game.

How to play?

Divide into teams, one guy and one girl each. Each newly minted couple poses for a series of photos, and the other guy takes the pictures. It’s very simple; the photographer picks a different emotion / situation and directs the action. First, you’re happy! Then sad. 🙁 Surprised! Angrrrry. And so on. If you want to get more complicated and you have good little models to work with you can get more creative and do some situational role playing. Every now and then we even make a little video short if we have really fun girls which turns it into “The Movie Game”.

Remember that you have to lead, so act your ass off and don’t be shy. One of Raul!’s favorite lines when looking at the pictures is to say, “Well, I look good!”.

Now you have lots of funny pictures with your new girlfriend with the two of you working together. I could give you a bunch of other reasons why this works that have to do with mirroring body language and other psychology, but the best thing about the game is that it’s fun, girls love to have their pictures taken, and those pictures on your camera are different than the other million pictures she’s taken before. Trust me, chicks that like you will love playing this game with you. And afterwards, you’re a team now, so take her out on the dance floor and keep up the good work!

Charlie Bushmeister

Call me Charlie. I decided to join with others to write this blog because I feel that I have learned a lot about how to succeed in life in general. It took a lot of trial and error and I've developed a wealth of philosophies, skills, and tricks of the trade that would be very useful to like minded guys out there. There's no need to repeat my mistakes, of which I have made many, instead I urge you to read this blog, absorb and practice its lessons, and then go out and have the most awesome life, on your own terms. To me that means good health, success in your career, the number and type of relationships you want, and general satisfaction that you're not wasting your life spinning your wheels, but going forward always towards your goals.
